Hello kids! Do you know how far it takes a train to come to a complete stop?

A passenger train can take up to two football fields to stop, while a freight train can take approximately the length of 18 football fields.

That is why you should never play on or near train tracks as trains take a long time to stop. Be safe and stay clear!
